What is Catchment 08?
From Catchment 08
The Flood Risk & Water Level Management Exhibition
| Catchment 08 - a BIG Thank You
On behalf of Jean Venables (ADA Chief Executive), our Chairman, Henry Cator OBE and all of us at the Association of Drainage Authorities can I take this opportunity to thank those of you who attended Catchment 08 on the 17 & 18 September 2008, we hope you enjoyed the exhibition as much as we did running it. The combination of the exhibition, ADA conference, 15 seminars & corporate presentations, and the launch of the Drainage Channel Biodiversity Manual by ADA and Natural England made for an informative showcase event which we hope to build on still further in two years time at Catchment 2010. Your thoughts and comments would be gratefully received; if you have the time to complete this questionnaire about the event it would be very helpful for next time. If you missed some of the seminars and corporate presentations at Catchment 08 or wish to refresh your memory you may be interested to have a look at the slides from these presentations now available in the ADA website downloads section. This Catchment 08 website will also remain active until the creation of a new website introducing Catchment 2010, please find within further information about our speakers and exhibitors and more photographs from the event. With best wishes Ian Moodie, ADA Technical & Research Assistant |
