Who is Catchment 08 for?
Catchment 08 is open to the public and free to enter. The exhibition aims to be of particular interest to those affected by recent flooding and those involved in making land management, planning and building decisions providing a one stop shop for local authority representatives looking to improve their understanding of the water environment in light of the Pitt Review. The exhibition will be open on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 September 2008 from 9am until 5pm.
The Exhibition will be a showcase for the flood management industry, providing an opportunity to discuss with key stakeholders what is happening locally and nationally to improve Water and Flood Risk Management and view innovative technology now being developed to plan, enhance and maintain Europe's watercourses.
Informative events, seminars and workshops will be held through out both days including addresses by high profile figures in flood risk management.
